The Roles of Expert Photographers
When you hire a professional wedding photographer in Sparrows-Green, you can expect their full attention, whereas with a friend or family member theyíre far more likely to become distracted. A relative will likely expect to enjoy the day and become part of it, whereas a professional photographer will know that their role is very clearly defined.
A professional photographer wonít be tempted to chat with guests, grab a quick beer, or be first in line for cake when they should be taking an important shot. They will be fully concentrating on the job, taking every opportunity to capture the special moments of your wedding day, whilst keeping it very low key.
Wedding shoots also tend to go much better when guests are engaging with paid, professional photographers. Photoshoots taken by a relative tend to be less organised and taken less seriously than those arranged by professionals.
Skill with Different Styles of Photography
In order to get a specific photographic style, you need a professional photographer whose style matches what youíre looking for. How many amateurs do you think are even aware of the differences between fine art, contemporary, traditional, or photojournalistic photography styles?
Can they deliver what you want the way you want it? Quite often, they will not be able to. Donít rush into a decision; think about the style you want and get a photographer that can match it. Choose a professional who can immediately understand your style ideas when you explain them.
Communication and Reliability
There are numerous other factors that contribute to a professional photographer being a better choice than an amateur photographer or enthusiast. Any wedding day has tough moments to overcome, whether it is getting a large group together while meeting a deadline with a photoshoot in session and a professional brings a mass of experience to help deal with this.
A professional wedding photographer will get people where they need to be for each photo and plan all the photo sessions to ensure no one gets missed out, or no opportunity is missed. They will use their voice and body language to encourage people to where they need to be, persuasively getting things done and enhancing rather than detracting from the celebration of your special day in Sparrows-Green. Amateur photographers find it incredibly difficult to maintain the necessary distance, humour, intimacy and support along with effectively communicating to get the perfect shot.
Expert Wedding Photographers Give You more
There arenít many people that you will spend more time on your wedding day than your wedding photographer. The wedding photographer will take the initial shots during the day as you get ready and even travel to the church and will stay with you throughout the day and maybe until you leave for home or honeymoon.
From the start of the day to the end of the day, your wedding photographer will be around you, capturing every special moment without intruding on your day. The best wedding photographers are practically invisible, until you need a photo taken. Your photographer will notice if there are untucked shirts or jackets missing in photos, as they will have a keen eye for every detail.
By fixing any little issues they can help you get better images. Your wedding planner will have lots of other things to do and wonít shadow you all day in Sparrows-Green, not like your photographer will. The photographer will help the wedding party and guests be where they need to be and help to calm any emotions.
A Patient Demeanor
Itís really important that you hire a wedding photographer that puts you at ease. This is a person you are going to be around a great deal on one of the most special days of your life. You donít want to spend all that time second-guessing your decision.
The professional photographer will have to be technically skilled, with an added mix of patience, experience and understanding. It is their job to help the day in Sparrows-Green flow and to bring out your personality and capture it with their photography skills. Rarely does a wedding go exactly to plan and a wedding photographer should always remain calm and in control throughout the day. An expert wedding photographer is flexible and goes with the flow of the event, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

For a lot of wedding couples, their wedding day is the first time a professional wedding photographer has their camera lens pointed at them. As well as being anxious about the big day, having a camera pointed at you all day can make you feel even more uncomfortable, especially if you feel that photos donít generally flatter you.
Having invested some time to choose the right wedding photographer, you can be assured that they will do certain things to make the process less stressful.

Here is a list of things included in a wedding photography package
Below is a list of the what is included in a wedding photography package. Some of the items below are highly important, whereas others you may not even need to talk about. Which events the photographer should attend.
You’ll probably want the photographer for the wedding ceremony and some or all of the after-party but itís worth thinking about whether you want photos from the bridal shower and the engagement party too. This is the first thing to be discussed and can also be divided into the number of days. This will add up to a certain number of days and is normally the first thing that you need to decide. How many hours of shooting in Sparrows-Green
Generally, each assignment the photographer takes will be priced up largely based on the anticipated hours it will take. With weddings, we understand that exact timings and schedule are very individual and that they need to go with the flow of your day. We need to be flexible and so we tend to take a different approach to pricing our wedding packages.
Photographers often [I used to] have different packages in Sparrows-Green i.e. ëPlatinumí, ëGoldí, ëSilverí, ëBronzeí, etc. When you start adding extras to these packages it all becomes a bit of a logistical nightmare to understand or work out the overall price. I now prefer to work on a fixed price for the full day’s coverage. Iím not a clock watcher and won’t mind doing an extra hour or so. We know you don’t want to have an extra hour billed after the event, just because your schedule fell behind and the eight hours you paid for in the ëSilver packageí didn’t cover the full day. If your wedding destination is a long way away, weíll need to negotiate expenses for accommodation, flights, fuel and food.

A Look at the Differences in Styles
Fine Art Photography
In the same way that photographers of a photojournalistic genre don’t tend to take traditional shots very often, fine arts photographers rarely do either. Rather, their pictures are captured through an artistic appreciation of events, elements and people, accented with the use of stunning lighting. Fine Art photographers in Sparrows-Green have a flair for the dramatic and always looking for the artistic side when composing and staging their photos, often using different filters, including black and white.
Vintage Style Photography
Vintage image filters have become very popular and so this style of photography has quickly evolved. The number of weddings that are being photographed with a vintage wedding theme in mind, seems to be steadily growing. This style of photography can bring with it an ageless, timeless quality and has the power to stir emotions and maybe this is why more and more people are seeing the appeal in it. Vintage photography done well in Sparrows-Green, transforms ordinary images into artistic work of art using colour filters and various props and lighting tricks.
Traditional or Classical
In traditional or classical photography, many shots are treated as a posed portraits, sometimes including shots you may think of as candid. Although the photographs won’t feel overly posed or artificial, you probably won’t get many action shots in the wedding album. The goal of photographers who prefer the traditional style is to take pictures that reflect the artistry and dignity of the wedding ceremony, with stunning lighting techniques.
Photojournalistic or Reportage
Photojournalism looks to record moments on camera, rather than orchestrating specific staged shots. With this type of photography, you’ll get the happy shots of guests together during the day, as well as more spontaneous and candid photos; the obligatory group shots and the formal bride and groom photos will of course also be included. The photo journalistic photographer is all about immortalizing the spontaneous reactions and emotions of the day as they happen, rather than orchestrating and staging their images.
Black and White (Monochrome)
Black and White photographs often create a timeless and classic look. Black-and-white photos are appreciated by many for their ability to enhance the mood and atmosphere of the scene being depicted. It’s all about preference. Using monochrome can enhance pictures by helping the subject and composition of photos really come to life. Black and white images can be effective in portraying an atmospheric, or nostalgic and timeless feel, that is sometimes elusive in the colour version.
Colour Popped and HDR Techniques
This photography technique requires excellent attention to detail from the outset, while both taking the shots and throughout the processing stage. The users of HDR and colour popped photography techniques, carefully choose the scenes they shoot in order to create images that are striking, with vibrant colours which draw the viewersí attention to a particular area of the image.
