Main Reasons Wedding Photography Is Important.

Planning your wedding day in Bulverhythe is an involved process and hiring a wedding photographer may not initially be at the top of your priority list.

However, it’s definitely something that deserves some prioritisation. It needs to be budgeted for and thought of well ahead of your special day in Bulverhythe. There are potentially so many precious moments during any wedding and so you need a wedding photographer who has the talent to both see and capture those moments. That takes a great deal of skill and experience. Your wedding album will tell a story that you can share with your family and your friends and even your future grandchildren.

Your wedding photos will capture cherished memories that you can turn to time and time again. After your wedding day in Bulverhythe, you’re unlikely to be wearing your dress and shoes again, the flowers will be cleared away and all the cake will be eaten. but the photographs of your wedding will always be with you to share, enjoy, laugh and maybe cry over. So please take the time to find the right professional!

Why hire a professional photographer for your wedding?

The planning for your wedding day is probably almost done if your wedding is coming up soon. You’ve arranged the venue, chosen your cake and booked a caterer. Your wedding dress is getting its final alterations, your flowers are all on order and the decorations and table centrepieces are all in hand.

Your mind is now turning to how you are going to capture the big day photographically. Maybe you’ve thought about asking a relative or friend, who is an amateur photographer to take on the responsibility.

It wouldn’t cost you anything and you can save yourself some money to budget for other things. This is definitely a path you should avoid.

Hiring a professional wedding photographer is the route you should take

The benefits of hiring a professional photographer far outweigh the ultimate cost of having an amateur photographer taking your photos for free! Remember, some special moments happen only once in a lifetime, yet the photos will stay with you forever.

Benefits of hiring pro-wedding photography

Having hired a professional wedding photographer in Bulverhythe, you are assured of the highest quality images, created and edited using the best expertise, cameras and photo editing software.

As well as a wealth of knowledge and experience, wedding photographers in Bulverhythe have access to premium photography equipment and software to enable them to capture the best wedding pictures possible.

The cameras are just part of the equation when it comes to taking fantastic photographs. Camera phones are pretty amazing these days and many people are tempted to try and save money by using them for their wedding photos. This could probably be one of the biggest mistakes you make. Everyone desires photographs that are skillfully composed and expertly captured for their wedding day. Let me explain a bit more about how a wedding photographer in Bulverhythe can add value to your photos and why it’s worth paying for them.

Camera equipment expertise and knowledge, together with many other elements such as weather and lighting variations. A photographer is only as good as the lenses they use and the skills they possess and a full appreciation of lighting. A professional wedding photographer is preferred because of their skill, expertise and also the equipment they use. Experienced professionals can get the most out of a DSLR camera due to their experience and skill, although anyone can take a picture with one. The person using the equipment and the quality of equipment being used are equally important. In order to get your dream photos, you need high end camera equipment and a wedding photographer with the experience, talent and knowledge to use it appropriately to its full potential. The skill of the photographer includes being able to take great photos in diverse lighting scenarios, depending on the weather, or the lighting at the wedding event venues.

The Photographerís Role

A professional wedding photographer in Bulverhythe is far less likely to be distracted by situations of the day than a family member or relative. The professional photographer wonít be striving to enjoy the day and become part of the celebration, like a family member would want to do.

They wonít miss that crucial loving moment because theyíre eating cake, downing a beer, or chatting with wedding guests. Their focus will be 100% on getting every possible moment captured on camera.

Something else that is a factor is that wedding guests tend to respect photo opportunities much more when they are gently marshalled by professional photographers. If a relative is trying to organise a photo session, it might end up far less organised than if a professional were doing it.

The Photography Style

In order to get a specific photographic style, you need a professional photographer whose style matches what youíre looking for. Not many amateurs are familiar with the differences between photojournalistic, fine art, traditional or contemporary styles.

Are you certain that theyíre going to be able to provide you with the photos that you dream of? Often, they wonít be able to. Donít rush into a decision; think about the style you want and get a photographer that can match it. Go with a professional photographer who can quickly understand what it is you are trying to achieve.

A Great Communicator and Reliable, too

There are many more reasons that a professional photographer is a better choice than using a relative or enthusiast. A professional photographer brings a lot of experience of weddings to the table and can help you to stay on track with the schedule and find the right balance between getting things done and blending into the background.

A professional photographer will be able to communicate effectively with your guests and keep the photo sessions flowing, by effectively getting people where they need to be. They will use body language and verbal messages, without imposing on your guests, to run through the necessary formalities whilst enhancing the celebration of your wedding day in Bulverhythe. Amateur photographers, no matter how hard they try, will find it hard to identify the right approach to photo sessions, being distant to a degree, professional, humorous, encouraging and supporting guests through the process, in order to capture those memorable shots.

Expert Wedding Photographers Give You more

Of all the people around you on your wedding day, your wedding photographer will probably be with you most. The wedding photographer will take the initial shots during the day as you get ready and even travel to the church and will stay with you throughout the day and maybe until you leave for home or honeymoon.

Your wedding photographer remains with you throughout every special moment of the day, capturing memories and blending into the background. Good wedding photographers will only be noticed when they need to organise a photo session. The photographer will notice if a picture is being spoiled by a lipstick stain on a collar, or a wonky handkerchief.

By fixing any little issues they can help you get better images. Your wedding planner will not be your shadow all day in Bulverhythe, but your photographer will. Your photographer will calm emotions when they heighten and ensure that people get to the right place at the right time.

Patience

As a couple, you need to hire a professional photographer that you are comfortable with. This is a person you are going to be around a great deal on one of the most special days of your life. You donít want to spend all that time second-guessing your decision.

The professional photographer will have to be technically skilled, with an added mix of patience, experience and understanding. They need to go with the flow and be able to make your personality shine brightly on your special day in Bulverhythe. An experienced professional will recognise that things rarely go exactly according to plan and will remain calm and effective throughout. An experienced wedding photographer will flow with the event and will be quick to adapt, always remaining professional.

What to Expect from Your Wedding Photographer?

In many cases the day of the wedding is the first time people are in front of a professionalís camera. This can be a source of anxiety and worry, especially for those that donít like the way they look in photographs.

Having invested some time to choose the right wedding photographer, you can be assured that they will do certain things to make the process less stressful.

Do you need a quality, friendly and relaxed professional photographer for your Wedding? Give me call today.

Promptness and Professionalism

Professionalism comes naturally if you hire someone based on their reputation and passion. Your photographer should be friendly, polite, punctual and appropriately dressed for the event. Your wedding photographer should arrive before they need to, so that they can get a feel for the venues and the best places to get the shots that you desire.

The Wedding Rehearsal on the Day Before the Wedding

It is customary for church wedding ceremonies to have a rehearsal a few days before the big day. In many cases you photographer will choose to attend this event and to speak to the presiding minister about where they can and cannot stand and what they can and cannot do during ceremony. With civil ceremonies, the photographers will normally have a discussion with the registrar prior to the wedding starting in Bulverhythe.

The Big Day – the Wedding

Your wedding photographer will take pictures of the bridal paraphernalia, the timing for this will be pre agreed. He will be there for the rest of the day but will not interrupt the flow in any way. Itís crucial to the team at Jeff Woodall photography that every precious memory is captured on camera and that we remain unobtrusive, so the day can play out naturally; we are of course available for any questions and we strive to raise the spirits of everyone in the party. Jeff Woodall photography prides itself on its ability to remain unobtrusive but to always be available for questions and to keep spirits high, ensuring that no beautifully precious moment is lost.

At some point in the night, often after the first dance, your wedding photographer will check with you to find out if thereís anything else you would like to be pictured. The backing up process will begin if you are happy for your photographer to call it a day. Jeff Woodall photography backs up all wedding pictures captured on the day to separate hard drives and then keeps them safe in a permanent backup until the end of the editing stage and provided to you. We treat your photographs as the precious digital data that they are.

The Editing of Wedding Photographs

Editing is a crucial stage in the wedding photography process and will be completed within the days that follow the event in Bulverhythe. At the first stage, all images are checked to select the ones that best tell the story of the day. Every selected photograph is edited using a light touch approach with only a few subtle edits.

Jeff Woodall photography only use beautifully sharp images. During post processing, the images undergo some minor editing. They are colour balanced and cropped. Some of the pictures may be converted to monochrome and other style filters may be applied to further enhance the overall effects of your images.

The photos are then ready to be exported from the photo editing suite into an online password protected gallery, as well as uploaded to a USB stick and delivered to you, ready for sharing on social media and for printing. Weíll provide you with all the instructions you need for how to access the online gallery and how to share it with your family and friends and we’ll also send you the USB stick with easy to use instructions on how to share your photos online.

Here to help after event

At Jeff Woodall photography we will ensure we are accessible to help you find out about bespoke wedding photo books and any wedding albums that you might like. If you have already decided on a digital photo book album and know the style choices you want to go for, it’ll probably still take you a little while after the wedding to decide on which images to include.

You’ll probably be asked to pick your favorite 80 photographs that depict the story of your day and you can ask your photographer any questions to guide you on this. Your photographer will then begin to design the album for you.

How many hours of shooting in Bulverhythe

Typically, a photographer will work out pricing based on the number of hours they need to put into any assignment. At Jeff Woodall Photography we tend to use this method of pricing for events and for portraits, but we understand that each wedding has a bespoke schedule and that we need to be flexible to go with the day and so we work a little differently.

Many photographers (and I used to) offer a range of packages in Bulverhythe, such as ëPlatinumí, ëGoldí, ëSilveríand ëBronzeí. When you start adding extra options, wedding album packages, design and other things it can get quite complicated. When you choose me, you get a fixed price for the day, with no hidden extras. Obviously, this is within reason, but I tend to arrive well early to get shots of getting ready and to remain long after the first dance, because there is still additional photographic value to be had. We know you don’t want to have an extra hour billed after the event, just because your schedule fell behind and the eight hours you paid for in the ëSilver packageí didn’t cover the full day. For wedding ceremonies that involves travelling, the travel expenses for flights, fuel, food, refreshments and accommodation would need to be subject to negotiation with the client.

Wedding photography Services List

Below is a summary list of wedding photography services :

A Look at the Differences in Styles

Fine Art Photography

Just as with photography of a photojournalistic style, fine art photographers don’t normally take that many shots that are of a traditional nature. Rather, their pictures are captured through an artistic appreciation of events, elements and people, accented with the use of stunning lighting. Fine Art photographers in Bulverhythe have a flair for the dramatic and always looking for the artistic side when composing and staging their photos, often using different filters, including black and white.

Vintage Style Photography

Vintage photo filters have become quite popular over the last decade and has resulted in more demand for this style of photography. The number of wedding couples that choose to have vintage wedding photography has grown fast. Photographs of the Vintage style are timeless, old and has the power to stir emotions in people, which is perhaps why the style has become so appealing. Vintage photography done well in Bulverhythe, transforms ordinary images into artistic work of art using colour filters and various props and lighting tricks.

Traditional or Classical

In traditional or classical photography, many shots are treated as a posed portraits, sometimes including shots you may think of as candid. With traditional or classical wedding photography, it’s unlikely that you’ll get lots of action and movement in photos, but the images shouldnít feel unnaturally forced either. The wedding ceremony will be captured with the aim of taking pictures that are artistic and functional, but perhaps driven less by drama or emotion.

Photojournalistic or Reportage

Photojournalism looks to record moments on camera, rather than orchestrating specific staged shots. As always, the necessary formal shots will be taken, as well as a number of spontaneous happy shots group shots during the day. Photographers with a photojournalistic style will shy away from orchestrating too many moments during the day, except those formal group shots, or bride and groom images they need to take. They prefer to record close-ups of the bride, groom and wedding guests and really document the dayís actual emotions and feelings.

Black and White (Monochrome)

This style is excellent for timeless, classical, emotion-packed photographs. Black-and-white photos are appreciated by many for their ability to enhance the mood and atmosphere of the scene being depicted. It really comes down to what you prefer. Using monochrome can enhance pictures by helping the subject and composition of photos really come to life. The extra contrast of black and monochrome images can really evoke a certain atmosphere that colour sometimes simply cannot.

Colour Popped and HDR Techniques

When shooting photographs and using this photo technique, each shot is rather complex with lots of elements to consider and the editing process is equally detailed. The photographer that uses HDR and colour popped techniques will use them sparingly, only with the right images, to maximise the impact of those colour popped or high dynamic scenes.
