Typically, a photographer will work out pricing based on the number of hours they need to put into any assignment. We need to be flexible and so we tend to take a different approach to pricing our wedding packages.

When you start adding extra options, wedding album packages, design and other things it can get quite complicated. I find it works better to have a set price for a full day’s coverage. Obviously, I’m not going to give hours of my time for free, but I’m happy to arrive early to get some shots, or stay after the first dance if there’s extra photos that need to be captured.
