You should invest some time in planning your wedding photography though. You need to get a photographer in Crumbles booked well in advance and have a clear budget for your wedding images. It’s not always easy to capture those precious moments, so you need a wedding photographer with talent, experience and the right equipment to do your special event justice. Your wedding album will tell a story that you can share with your family and your friends and even your future grandchildren.

The photos of your wedding will rekindle memories as you look through them over and over again. The day after your wedding in Crumbles, your wedding dress will be packed away, your shoes boxed up, the flowers will wither and you’ll be finishing off the last crumbs of the wedding cake. but the photographs of your wedding will always be with you to share, enjoy, laugh and maybe cry over. So please take the time to find the right professional!

Why hire a professional photographer for your wedding?

If your wedding is coming up soon then you have probably planned most of the necessities. You’ve arranged the venue, chosen your cake and booked a caterer. You’ve tried on and love your wedding dress and have chosen table decorations and flowers.

Your mind is now turning to how you are going to capture the big day photographically. Your uncle is a good amateur photographer and perhaps you’re considering asking him.

It wouldn’t cost you anything and you can save yourself some money to budget for other things. This is certainly not the way to go.

A professional wedding photographer is likely to achieve a much higher quality result

The benefits of hiring a professional photographer far outweigh the ultimate cost of having an amateur photographer taking your photos for free! The photos that are taken must capture those special seconds that mean the most to you.

The benefits of having an expert wedding photographer

When you choose to hire a professional wedding photographer in Crumbles the pictures you receive will be quality, in high resolution, captured with the best photography equipment and edited with skill, using professional editing software.

Using their knowledge and skills, together with camera and equipment of superior technology and editing with the latest software, your wedding photographer in Crumbles will be able to produce beautiful and unique images that will make your day..

The equipment that wedding photographers use goes far beyond the camera, which is only a part of what it takes to achieve the quality photography you need at your wedding. Camera phones are pretty amazing these days and many people are tempted to try and save money by using them for their wedding photos. This is a big mistake. Every wedding couple wants the highest quality and most skillfully composed photographs possible, to remember their wedding day by. I’ll explain some of these benefits in greater detail, to help you understand the value in paying a professional wedding photographer for the day in Crumbles.

A detailed knowledge of their camera equipment and how to deal with variable lighting conditions. A wedding photographer will not be able to produce fantastic pictures in all conditions if they don’t have the lenses for the situation, the lighting options, or don’t have the skill to use them. Professional wedding photographers have more photographic equipment in their armoury and also have more experience using different setups to capture stunning images. Experienced professionals can get the most out of a DSLR camera due to their experience and skill, although anyone can take a picture with one. The types of camera equipment being utilised is important, but just as important is the skill of the photographer that is using them. The ideal situation is that you have an expert photographer who can use top of the range equipment to its full potential. This includes being able to take great pictures in different photographic lighting conditions, indoors and outdoors, with different natural and artificial light at the venue.

The Roles of Expert Photographers

A professional wedding photographer in Crumbles is far less likely to be distracted by situations of the day than a family member or relative. A relative will likely expect to enjoy the day and become part of it, whereas a professional photographer will know that their role is very clearly defined.

They wonít miss that crucial loving moment because theyíre eating cake, downing a beer, or chatting with wedding guests. Every moment theyíre there, their focus will be on unobtrusively capturing the best possible images that they can of the event.

Something else that is a factor is that wedding guests tend to respect photo opportunities much more when they are gently marshalled by professional photographers. If a relative is trying to organise a photo session, it might end up far less organised than if a professional were doing it.

The Photographic Style

If you are looking for photography that captures a certain style, then you should hire a photographer that is proficient in that style. If you want to ask an amateur photographer, the chances are that theyíre not familiar with the differences between traditional, contemporary, fine art, or photojournalistic styles.

Can an amateur photographer capture photos the way you want them? In most cases, they will fall short. Donít rush into a decision; think about the style you want and get a photographer that can match it. Choose a professional who can immediately understand your style ideas when you explain them.

Reliability and Communication

A professional photographer really is a better choice than going for an amateur relative or enthusiast friend in most cases and there are lots of other reasons why. A professional photographer will have the experience to ensure that photo sessions remain within the schedule and do not detract from other parts of the day.

A professional will be able to carry the wedding party along and subtly communicate where your guests need to be. They have the experience to do so using body language, cues and verbally, without obstructing your guests, or spoiling the celebration of your big day in Crumbles. Amateur photographers find it incredibly difficult to maintain the necessary distance, humour, intimacy and support along with effectively communicating to get the perfect shot.

Expert Wedding Photographers Give You more

The wedding photographer is around all day, spending time with you on your wedding day. From the shots of you getting ready and preparing to go to church all the way to the moment you leave the wedding venue, the photographer is there.

Your wedding photographer is always near you, having been engaged to capture the emotion and style of your day in its entirety. The best wedding photographers are practically invisible, until you need a photo taken. Your photographer will ensure every shot is perfect and no detail is amiss, such as a lipstick stain on the teeth, or button holes that are wonky.

They will be there to inform you of this and help you try to fix it. Your photographer will be your shadow all day in Crumbles, not your wedding planner. Your photographer will calm emotions when they heighten and ensure that people get to the right place at the right time.

A Patient Temperament

Itís really important that you hire a wedding photographer that puts you at ease. The amount of time youíre going to spend with this person on your special day really is significant. You donít want to spend all that time second-guessing your decision.

You need a technically proficient photographer with, empathy, patience, understanding and superb planning skills. They need to flow with you and help the lens to capture your personality at its best throughout your special day in Crumbles. An experienced professional will recognise that things rarely go exactly according to plan and will remain calm and effective throughout. An expert wedding photographer is flexible and goes with the flow of the event, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

What to Expect from Your Wedding Photographer?

Often people have never been in front of a professional camera before their wedding day. As well as being anxious about the big day, having a camera pointed at you all day can make you feel even more uncomfortable, especially if you feel that photos donít generally flatter you.

Having invested some time to choose the right wedding photographer, you can be assured that they will do certain things to make the process less stressful.

Do you need a quality, friendly and relaxed professional photographer for your Wedding? Give me call today.

Promptness and Professionalism

Professionalism comes naturally if you hire someone based on their reputation and passion. Your wedding photographer should remain polite and courteous at all times, demonstrating a great attitude, good time keeping for every aspect of the schedule and remaining suitably attired throughout the day. By arriving early your wedding photographer will be able to scout the location and choose some excellent vantage points, although they will probably have visited your key event locations prior to the big day.

Wedding Rehearsals

If you plan to have a church ceremony, then itís customary to have a rehearsal a day or a week before. Your photographer may want to attend this to check the location and to have a brief discussion with the Vicar about where to stand during the service. This discussion normally happens on the day of the wedding in Crumbles, with the registrar, in the case of a civil ceremony.

The Day Arrives – the Wedding

Your wedding photographer will tend to arrive to take photos of the bridal presentations, the timings will have been agreed. You will have his undivided attention for the whole day, but without interrupting in any way. Jeff Woodall photographyís ethos is to be very subtle, at staying in the background without interrupting the day, but being available to keep spirits high and answer any difficult questions, making sure that every single memory is captured in digital format. Jeff Woodall photography will be poised to capture all of the beautiful moments through the day, without intruding in any way.

At some point in the night, often after the first dance, your wedding photographer will check with you to find out if thereís anything else you would like to be pictured. The photographer will start to backup the photos if you are happy that they have captured all the moments you need. Jeff Woodall photography backs up all wedding pictures captured on the day to separate hard drives and then keeps them safe in a permanent backup until the end of the editing stage and provided to you. We treat your photographs as the precious digital data that they are.

Editing Wedding Photographs

Editing is a large part of the work and will be done in the days following the wedding in Crumbles. The photographs need to tell the story of the wedding day and so the first stage is going through all the pictures and selecting the best ones. Every selected photograph is edited using a light touch approach with only a few subtle edits.

The images that Jeff Woodall photography produce are always beautifully sharp. The pictures that require a little work are edited for colour balance and size. Various effects can be achieved during the post processing of your images, including monochrome conversions.

The images are then exported and uploaded to an online password protected gallery, ready to be viewed by you, your friends and family as you wish. You will also be given all high resolution images on a USB stick. Weíll provide you with all the instructions you need for how to access the online gallery and how to share it with your family and friends and we’ll also send you the USB stick with easy to use instructions on how to share your photos online.

Helping clients down the line

Once you have your photos, you’ll be looking for a way to present them and Jeff Woodall photography will be available to discuss the design of wedding photo books and to talk you through wedding album options. It can take some time after the wedding ceremony to decide on which pictures to include in your digital photo book album, even if you have already decided on colours, styles and designs.

80 images is around the number you should be looking to choose, but your photographer will guide you on this. The design of the album is then carried out by your photographer.

Wedding photography packages ñ what is included?

Here is a summary of what you will typically find in a wedding photography package. Some of the items below are highly important, whereas others you may not even need to talk about. Number of events to be photographed

You may want the photographer for the engagement party, the bridal shower, as well as the wedding ceremony and after-party. This will be early on in the decision-making process and will be divided into a number of days that you need the photographer. Once you have decided on dates, you need to get them in the photographer’s diary.

How many hours you want the photographer for the shoot in Crumbles

Typically, a photographer will work out pricing based on the number of hours they need to put into any assignment. I often use this for portrait and events but in terms of weddings, I have simplified the process to a large extent, due to the flexible nature of the day and the fact that each wedding is quite different and difficult to predict in terms of exact timings.

Photographers often [I used to] have different packages in Crumbles i.e. ëPlatinumí, ëGoldí, ëSilverí, ëBronzeí, etc. This way of doing things can get over complicated and even more so when additional options and extras are added to the mix. With me you get a full day’s coverage for a set price. Iím not a clock watcher and won’t mind doing an extra hour or so. We donít want to bill you an extra hour or two after the wedding because it didn’t go exactly to schedule and the package you pay for didn’t have enough hours. In cases where weddings are overseas, or in remote locations, there would need to be some negotiation regarding fuel or flights, food and accommodation.

Wedding photography Services List

Below is a summary list of wedding photography services :

What are the differences between all these different styles?

Fine Art Photography

Photojournalistic photographers will tend not to take so many traditional shots and nor do fine art photographers. Rather, they photograph with an appreciation for the artistic side of people, the lighting options and the overall drama of the scene. The Fine Art photographer in Crumbles prefers to pack their photos with art and drama, often using black and white as a filter.

Vintage Style Photography

Vintage photography is a style that has evolved and become increasingly more popular of late, helped by the emergence of vintage style filters. The market for couples who want vintage style weddings and photography has become quite large. With vintage images there is certainly a timeless quality that can stir nostalgic emotion, which may be the cause of such an increase in the appeal of this artistic style. Vintage photography in Crumbles is regarded as almost an art form, where the ordinary is transformed into stunning evocative images using colour filters and specialist lighting.

Traditional or Classical

In traditional or classical photography, many shots are treated as a posed portraits, sometimes including shots you may think of as candid. With this style of photography, you are likely to get more static images than spontaneous flowing, action shots, although the images you get won’t feel overly staged. The aim of traditional photography is to capture moments with dignity and artistry, using many posed shots, including many formal images, under a range of lighting options.

Photojournalistic or Reportage

Photojournalism photography focuses on the actual moments that happen, rather than staging them. Group shots will be taken as required, as well as candid and spontaneous images. There are few formal ëgrip and griní roundups and guests smiling for the shot. The photo journalistic photographer tends not to orchestrate moments and poses but would rather look to capture the genuinely spontaneous action and close up reactions of guests and the wedding couple.

Black and White (Monochrome)

With black-and-white photographs you get a timeless and classical feel to images. Although many people prefer colour images, others appreciate how removing that colour and by the skillfully use of post processing techniques, really create pictures that are packed with atmosphere. It really comes down to what you prefer. Using monochrome can enhance pictures by helping the subject and composition of photos really come to life. The extra contrast of black and monochrome images can really evoke a certain atmosphere that colour sometimes simply cannot.

Colour Popped and HDR Techniques

This photography technique requires excellent attention to detail from the outset, while both taking the shots and throughout the processing stage. This technique of photography [ HDR / colour popped] involves picking the right scenes and the right processing software to create highly appealing photographs with colours that pop and stunning detail that is striking for the viewer.
